(국영문 동시배포) 18개국 주한 대사들, 한국의 '분청사기' 문화 체험한다.

국가유산청 한국전통문화대학교(총장 강경환)는 5월 14일 오후 1시 30분 덕수궁 선원전 영역 내 구(舊) 조선저축은행 중역사택에 위치한 K-Heritage국제센터(서울 중구)에서 주한 외교사절을 초청해 「2026 K-헤리티지 데이(K-Heritage Day)」를 개최한다.

「K-헤리티지 데이」는 주한 외국인에게 한국 국가유산의 가치와 매력을 소개하는 특별 강연 프로그램으로 올해는 '한국 분청자의 현대적 계승'을 주제로 그리스, 뉴질랜드, 리투아니아, 레바논 등 18개국의 주한 대사와 배우자, 외교관 등 주요 외교 인사가 참석할 예정이다.

강연은 한국전통문화대학교 전통미술공예학과 최성재 교수가 맡아 분청사기의 역사와 조형적 특징, 현대적 계승 가능성을 소개한다. 강연 이후에는 참석자들이 직접 분청 필통에 대나무 칼로 문양을 새겨 넣는 실습을 통해 한국적 미감을 몸소 체험하는 시간도 가진다.

국가유산청 한국전통문화대학교는 2023년부터 「K-헤리티지 아카데미(K-Heritage Academy)」를 운영하며 한국 국가유산의 국제적 확산을 위한 교육·교류 프로그램을 이어오고 있으며, 올해도 「K-헤리티지 데이」를 비롯해 국내외 외국인 유학생을 위한 계절학기 프로그램인 「K-헤리티지 필드 스터디」, 문화, 교육, 외교 등 다양한 분야의 실무자급 주한 외국인 대상의 국가유산 교육 프로그램 「K-헤리티지 리더십 프로그램」 등을 통해 한국 국가유산의 세계화와 국제적 위상 제고에 기여할 계획이다.

Korea Heritage Service Korea National University of Heritage (President Kang Kyung-hwan) will host the "2026 K-Heritage Day" at the K-Heritage International Center on May 14 at 1:30 PM, inviting diplomatic representatives stationed in Korea.

"K-Heritage Day" is a special lecture program designed to introduce the value and appeal of Korea's national heritage to foreigners residing in Korea. This year, under the theme of "The Living Tradition: Contemporary Korean Buncheong Ware," key diplomatic figures—including ambassadors, their spouses, and diplomats from 18 countries such as Greece, New Zealand, Lithuania, and Lebanon—are scheduled to attend.

Professor Choi Sung-jae of the Department of Traditional Arts and Crafts at Korea National University of Heritage will deliver the lecture, introducing the history, formative characteristics, and potential for modern succession of Buncheong ware. Following the lecture, a hands-on program will be held where attendees can carve patterns onto Buncheong pen holders using bamboo knives.

Since 2023, Korea National University of Heritage has been operating the "K-Heritage Academy" and continuing education and exchange programs to promote Korean national heritage internationally. This year, the university plans to contribute to the globalization of Korean national heritage and the enhancement of its international standing through initiatives such as "K-Heritage Day," "K-Heritage Field Study," and "K-Heritage Leadership Program."
